the shoots grew so slowly that I wondered whether the grapes would ever ripen

decidedly cool climate and massively over delivers for the price

which in turn enables us to offer his brilliant wines at a very fair price

Crawford River - 2016 'Beta' Sauvignon Blanc / Semillon variety_Whiskey HANDMADE HEATOyster shell, melon, cashew cream, dried herbs (think bay and sage). There is a lot going on here. Bone dry and complex, with lovely chalky texture and a line of saline acidity weaving a course throughout. This would work very well with pork or veal, or perhaps a rich chicken dish.
