but it is incredibly delicious today

This is built-to-age and is going to need plenty of it

Blends richness and finesse with a deft hand and finishes incredibly long and precise

Leoville Poyferre Vintage:1983 Some riper plum and spicedNot one to put away and age, but there is lots to enjoy here now. It has polish, well delivered red and brambly fruits, persistency and gloss. Oak is a touch more evident than in most years because the fruit is not at full ripeness. As with many 2013s, this offers good potential for drinking over the next decade but no further. 3% Cabernet Franc makes up the rest of the blend.
