Mathew street, centralised in the picture, was the home of the Cavern Club (the birthplace of the Beatles) and is one of the worlds most famous and visited streets. Cavern Walks, (David Backhouse 1982 4) is centre, with terracotta designs by Cynthia Lennon, who died in 2015.
