"Bend in a Stream with Three Ducks" by Edith Penman, Amer., (1860-1929) Tempera Thorpe often favored a dramaticEtching. ca. 1890, ed. unknown, 6 7 16 x 9 3 16, signed in script in the plate below the image along with an etched dragonfly remarque, on thick stiff cream wove paper. Light soil, a few faint spots of foxing mostly in the margins, and browning at margin edges from contact with the previous frame. The artist was a member of both the New York Etching Club and the Byrdcliff Arts & Crafts colony in Woodstock, New York.
