This 12 year old Caol Ila was matured in a first fill oloroso sherry cask and bottled at 56. 2% ABV. Nose: Rich, earthy peat smoke balanced by sticky dates and honey. Palate: More dried fruit in the form of raisins, dates and dried cherries. Peat smoke carried through with a slight liquorice note.
